Have you ever started a conversation or been approached because of a lanyard?
Now, I know not everyone has one, but similar situations apply. I just got to thinking about it because I have a Modern Performance lanyard on my key ring, and it always hangs out of my pocket, but I've never been approached. How about everyone else? Have you had a different experience?
Have a Lotus butt due to lack of photos of my lanyard.

Yes, but everyone at work wears a lanyard so there was a pretty high % chance of it happening eventually. :)

I have a Flying Lizard lanyard on my key chain , and I've had the same one since I got it at my first ALMS Race in 07'. I do every once and a while get people that ask about it, mostly because Flying Lizard is a bit funny sounding.

Yup, many times.
Just this week there was a younger guy wearing a lanyard from a project that I was a supervisor on. I knew everyone that was involved with the project top to bottom, and this guy wasn't one of them. In fact, he probably hadn't even graduated high school when we finished it up. The project was on the opposite coast and in a different line of business than we do here. Why did he have this? I had to know.
Turns out he was the younger brother (with a different last name somehow) of one of the higher up union guys I worked with every day for 3 years. Small world.

My ADT Sales lanyard probably got me the most people talking to me when I worked for them. Not QUITE the same thing.

Haha I'll call it close enough. I'm hoping someone will approach me because of the Modern Performance one.
